Not being a local, time was spent in transit prematch . Considered the Newton report was meant to have been released seven months ago, a members pre match forum seems rather hastily arranged.

I wonder how many people turned up? No doubt a small number as JS would have hoped. Wouldn't surprise if the next one is scheduled for an even more ridiculous time so as to avoid facing the members.

Someone I spoke to said it looked quite full in there. With no live stream, probably due to the setting up of equipment in the area, presume an issue of minutes might be publicised for those who did not attend due to travelling, parking prematch.

And...

Believe it or not I think it's right that as an employee of the club the C.E.O. Is privy to the process at this stage and not any committee member or the general membership. Because at the end of the day it's the committee who run the club and this enquiry is about them including historic members.

This is a Members Club, the report was paid for indirectly by members who have every right go see it. I get that names mentioned have a right of reply, but this has been going on far too long.  Was there any mention of Jo Faragher?

Exactly. Overdue and overpriced.

I got the impression the members will see the report when published. However not even the committee seem privileged on what's going on at the moment? Only the C.E.O. seems to be in communication with the solicitor?Reading between the lines and with no degree of certainty, my guess would be that the solicitor has ' politely suggested ' to the C.E.O. confidentiality may be an issue here?  Jo Faragher was brought up in the discussion and the club have to be mindful of a conflict of interest with her father in the process of legal action against the county.
