Unchanged squad. Beard has a foot injury, Khushi is suffering from concussion.
Harmer, Allison, Buttleman, Cook, Critchley, Nijjar, Sams, Snater, Pepper, Rossington, Richards, Walter, Westley

Well that was disappointing. But this is a good Somerset team who could win the group. Smeed in particular was immense. Essex were probably about 40 runs short and the rain break seemed to destroy any momentum when Critchley got out soon afterwards. Pepper and Critchley did well, not a good day for any of the others.
The Somerset crowd was as annoying as ever.

Let the ciderheads have their moment in the sun. We'll concentrate on the proper cricket.

Difference between sides in this game was the overseas players - Rousow scored 67 in 30 balls and De Lange 4 - 9 in 3 overs. Nothing from Sams yet and Harmer still under par although T20 has not really been his game anyway.
