Last night also demonstrated the main failing of this format, which will also become the main failing of the Hundred.  First team to bat gets a good, or sometimes even just reasonable, score.  It soon becomes obvious that the second team to bat aren't going to get anywhere near the total, so the game just fizzles out and any excitement for the crowd is lost.

True.  Same thing happened with the ladies at Chelmsford.

Perhaps a rule will be introduced that if the team batting second gets too far behind a couple of spectators will be asked to bowl an over each to give them a chance to get back in it.

I wasn't there but it highlights once again how much we will miss Tendo when he does retire, top scorer for the 2nd time in 3 games & again not out as well.

Yes, Ryan it was - but remind me - which team bowled that last over to them - death bowling??

Maybe the wicket wasn’t as easy as it looked. Personally, I just couldn’t get it going with the bat, I really struggled to hit it. I tried to go for it from 14 overs out, but the wicket was a little sticky and I never really found my timing.
