Shows how T20 can provide 'entertainment' but not necessarily good cricket. Putting aside duff lower order and quality spin the problem if you concede too many a wicket can set the dominoes tumbling quickly.
It's not a duff lower order that's what made it so bad, although as you say these things do happen in T20 cricket when you are chasing such a big score. Plunkett and Rashid at 9 and 10 are both very decent batsmen. You could argue Rashid is a better batsman than a bowler. Pretty much everytime I watch him bowl he bowls a pile of rubbish. He either bowls badly and gets wickets with full tosses and long hops or he bowls badly and gets smashed around.
Well, it was a duff performance by the lower order, the lesson of this whole tour is the need for remedial lessons in how to play in spin-friendly (or in this case flat) tracks.
As you say, it falls apart very quickly in 20/20. I've seen these matches when one side gets a big score then it goes horribly wrong in the opponent's innings. In 50/50 at least you get more cricket to watch, although they've become rather predictable. Time for two-innings 1 day cricket???
