First semi 11-00 hrs , second semi 15-00 hrs .
So presume final 19-00 hrs .

With those timings how are they expected to do their housework?

They've probably got a real man at home ... sorry some of us don't find that sort of 'joke' acceptable.

Come on, it wasn't that bad. Probably needed an emoticon or two (plus some ideological reengineering).

There is only one semi final at 11am, the winner plays the team that topped the League in the final at 3pm.

I like the one semi idea. It actually rewards the team who won the league format. It also makes the finals day less of an endurance test for spectators and should be adopted by the men. I saw Yorkshire play Loughborough in the opening match. The standard of fielding was excellent, the batting and bowling less impressive. It seems slow/spin bowlers with odd actions continue to dominate the women's game.

Excellent idea to have one semi and a final . With only six teams two semis would have meant finishing two thirds down the league reward you with finals day place .
At least one semi and a half way place beckons.

Does anyone know if there was much of a crowd?-no doubt the ECB will be interested as it is the first go at a franchise system.

The fact that Chelmsford hosted Finals day suggests that ECB didn't expect too many (it only holds 5/6k), rather than a higher profile ground, say Kia Oval.

I didn't go but from the picture on twitter it looks around 800 to 1,000 top whack.

The radio said just over 2100 tickets had been sold before the final; someone said the ground was a third fall which confirms this
