How about streaming the Members' Forum live online? How about taking emailed questions from those who don't happen to live in easy travelling distance from Chelmsford?
The Club really have to do so much better than this. It could be 1985, or any date since. Why do ECCC have such a problem with being open and honest and accessible?

The Members Forum is an exclusive Members event, and if it were to be streamed live, it would be open to the general public. If you would like to submit questions, please email them to marketing@essexcricket.org.uk. We also provided the opportunity for Members to submit their questions for an interview with the CEO in September, which was advertised on our social media channels, and we will continue to do these.

This is 2015, not 1985...although the way ECCC operate you'd have a problem realising it. You send the valued members a log-in code, to watch a live stream of the Forum. You then issue a report on what took place. It should be best practice, not an exception.
The truth is that the Members' Forums are always held at an evening time slot on a mid-week evening because it's the way it has always been done. I would have said it was to keep away people with any "contentious" opinions, or dissenting voices. Unfortunately, experience and evidence have shown us that ECCC never appear to receive any concerted scrutiny or create a movement amongst members to change anything. In spite on year on year incompetence off the field, and often on it. Someone on here recently stated recently that the Club have the most docile, accepting of any membership in the county circuit. Sadly, I can only concur with that.
