Two questions can anyone answer .

Considering they where paying county sides in previous seasons, what happened to Holland ?

What is that design in black on the England shirt ?

I didn't realise this but someone told me they lost to Scotland in the Qualifiers so they must be poor.

It is a shame when you see a country take a few steps forward and then just as many back again.

When did England take the steps forward exactly?

We've been rubbish at the 50 over stuff ever since Botham started flogging Shredded Wheat for a living.

Agreed - but small steps forward followed by falling backwards.  Strange to think that we used to be dominant back in the days when G Boycott started wearing Shredded Wheat for a living.

To be fair to Boycs his fedora is a much more dignified way of covering up spam than that skunk Michael Vaughan currently sports on his head.

Now, now, ladies of a certain age cannot resist a fedora at a jaunty angle - maybe skunks do it for the younger generation!?

There was one lady that did much to his well documented chagrin.
