Well attended, but attendance still too "Chelmsford & District", I suggested we take these forums around the county. In a nutshell:
- Tymal Mills ran down his contract. The club made a fair offer based on achievements at the club so far, but Tymal's demands were too high and would have caused dressing room disruption if met.
- New players coming through (Porter, Moores, etc) adequately compensate for outgoing players. Appears wage bill needed to be addressed.
- Ryder signs 2 year deal, leaves room for overseas T20 addition.
- Tendo new deal; compensation reflects availability.
- Ground development progress; looks like only LV games may have to leave Chelmsford for a while amid works. RL50/T20s could still be staged. New pavilion central to redevelopment progress.
- 2015 aim remains to be promoted to Div 1.
- New computer system coming online to address ticketing issues.
- Questions from the floor answered by the panel openly and to satisfaction.

After the meeting, it was confirmed that the committee had approved 2015 as a benefit year for Ravi Bopara.

Daren - at least Chelmsford is easy to get to for members like me who do not live in Essex any longer.

A members/supporters event at the ground with players present would be more attractive. A weekday evening is impossible for me with such a long journey.

I hear you; I'm not saying abandon Chelmsford, more the idea of doing other (non member) forums around the county; encourage others to become members in the process!
