That was his public utterance when Shah was signed. When it came to awarding him a contract extension for that duration consisting of his annual three months of substandard, half-interested appearances he 'contributed', Grayson was forced to 'fess' up that actually he'd known all along and it was part of a cosy little agreement the player and Club had reached when he joined ECCC
