It would be interesting to see a breakdown of how many England players have been produced by each County over, say, the last 20/30 years since England became more professional in outlook & everything else etc. I suspect Essex would feature prominently apart from Wicket keeping(sore point there), certainly we have supplied our fair share of Captains since Fletch had the honour.
