So Rosso's dodgy digit has made it but Harmy has not.

On holiday this week, so I've only been following intermittently.

The Sussex batting doesn't look that strong to me, so I think Essex can win this. If they can get rid of not-Harrison-Ford.

Not to mention Daniel Hughes hitting Sams for 32 from one over.

The Sussex batting might look weak after the openers, but Essex have to get the openers first.

That loss against Gloucestershire is looking more and more damaging by the round. They seem to be as rubbish as Middlesex. Sussex look a good outfit this year, they turned Surrey over at the Oval as well.

A dispiriting performance. Essex about 100 short the way Sussex started. Sussex are over performing this season, but Essex are desperately missing Cook. A couple of early wickets and the game should have been on.

Hard to blame Rossington as the stand in captain. Every bowler had a bad day.

And Gloucs just tied with Surrey.

That was ridiculous.  He pulled up lame a couple of overs before, running after the 4 overthrows.  He then bowled the last over of the powerplay at about half pace and then walked off injured pretty much straight after.
I thought Walters shot was dumb, then Benkenstein decided to top it with probably the worst shot I?ve ever seen and then Sams bowling the last over of the powerplay clearly not fit, was even dumber still.  It?s t20, it?s best not to take it too seriously at times as it?s a bit of a slogathon particularly on a ground the size of ours but the way we play comes off as pretty unprofessional at times.

Very disappointing effort. Outclassed in every single area including missed catches and fielding. Maybe unfair but team did not look motivated or up for this game.

You are making me very glad that I didn't see a ball of this game.

Time to put Rosso into the cupboard under the stairs again?
