Title: scoreboard!

How often does the new scoreboard go wrong? It got stuck last night in spectacular fashion which even the BBC commentators mentioned. The relay scoreboard was not in use, and the giant screen was too far away for many to see.
What a good image! Hope it's still under warranty!

Essex are a dysfunctional club so why expect a functional scoreboard?

It's not a scoreboard, it's a display screen bought to enable advertising, "crowd interaction", "kiss cams", "crowd karaoke" and other such gimmicks for the use of the Commercial department. It's use as a scoreboard for those of us who are actually interested in the game is the lowest priority. I e-mailed the club with some constructive criticism re how the score data is displayed and asked that the person responsible for the use as a scoreboard reply. The commercial department replied. Says it all really.
