With my plans for today ruined by the test match not going the distance and the weather I pulled out on old Wisden to see what was happening around this time in cricket history. Tomorrow - the 25th - marks the 40th anniversary of Robin Hobbs hurricane hundred against the Australians. One of the more astnishing things I've seen over the years.
