Yes, proof you should ignore certain coaches and work out your own appropriate technique. Hopefully the likes of Toppers mkII, Mills and Porter can do the same.

In the days of Fletcher, with Lever, Turner, Pringle and co  did we have bowling coaches at Essex?

Very well done to Jimmy Anderson on his feat,hope he can go on for 2/3 years & get or get near 500 by retirement time, best course of action for that would be to quit all 1 day Internationals I think.

Yes. Certainly Frank Rist would've been involved - doing it for nothing because the club had no money.
