Title: Trott's Renaissance
Post by: IlfordEagle on October 29, 2014, 05:06:59 PM
I was pleased to see Jonathan Trott being selected for England Lions this Winter as part (hopefully) of a return to the full England team. I  hope he is fully recovered & reverts to being a consistent & reliable run scorer for England, time will tell.
Good wishes to him & hope his troubles are over for good.

Yes. May not return to the international side, but like Tresco I hope he finds himself in a 'better place'.

Until any 1/2 decent fast bowler gives him some chin music.

Yes indeed all the best to Jonathan - mental illnesses are all too easily trodden over in society.

Agreed, my Daughter has suffered from Clinical Depression for 5 years which have been very trying for her, so I know whatever mental illness Jonathan actually has it cannot have been easy for him.
