Danny,

On another thread, it was suggested that alcohol may NOT be brought into the ground for the Royal London 50 over matches. I can't see anything on my "One Day Cup Match Pack" email re alcohol restrictions but could you please clarify? Specifically, is a glass bottle of wine permitted?

An old couple got a knock back over a wine bottle, in front of me at the Leicester game.

Mind you no bag checkers there by half time

At a music festival I went to recently, someone smuggled a couple of bottles in by having his friend present the bag checkers with an ice cream each and then strolling through while they were concentrating on eating them. Not that I could possibly condone such behaviour.

I bet they wouldn't do that at the Essex County Ground - have you seen the  the price of their ice creams!
