Title: Old dog, new tricks
Post by: Valentines Park on June 26, 2014, 07:08:38 AM
Charlie Shreck has scored almost as many runs this season as he managed for the rest of his career.

Maybe we could find a use for Saj after all?

...

Yes quite a turnaround. I'd be asking for a drugs test.

Batting isn't the issue with Saj - his batting is ok & fairly decent for a lower order batsman, it's his bowling that's off radar, if he could put it on the spot regularly then he would be extremely difficult to play.

What's Mills got to do with this thread, I thought we were discussing Saj.

For Saj read Mills & for Mills read Saj!!

The Essex year book tells me that Mahmood is 32 and in his second season his "first-class" career for Essex consists of 4 matches wherein he has taken 3 wkts at an average of 109.66.

Mills is 21 and has 45 wkts at around 35.00.

You're comparing chalk with cheese.
