"Sir Garry Sobers, an undisputed cricketing great and widely regarded as the sport?s greatest all-rounder, has died aged 89.
Sobers will forever be associated with the feat he completed in 1968 at Glamorgan?s St Helen?s ground in Swansea when he became the first batsman to hit six sixes in a single over of six consecutive balls in first-class cricket but his achievements in a long and illustrious career were numerous."
I was fortunate to see him play a few times, RIP.

I was fortunate to see him play at Chelmsford in 1973. What a cricketer.

I was slightly wrong. I do recall Basharat going after being hit and there was quite a bit of blood. 53 years ago now. Great days really. As a schoolboy it was a bus ride from the family home in Gosfield to watch grwat stars of the world game.

The sixth, six, was hit out of the ground. A few days later, a boy found the ball in the gutter. In a street near the ground, and returned it. Advising that the ball was still rolling.

What a contrast Basharat and Sobers !
