Jordan Cox, Sam Cook and Luc Benkenstein are all in the England Lions squad to play Pakistan in the UAE in February. Cox is captain of the T20 side. There will be 3 T20s and 5 ODIs against Pakistan Shaheens.

Moeen and Stokes, who will continue his injury rehabilitation in the UAE, will assist head coach Andrew Flintoff for a three-match T20 series and five 50-over matches against Pakistan's second string.

 Cox and Cook both  jettisoned by the England red ball coaching staff and now  find themselves under Stokes jurisdiction, strange what comes about .
