A new era it is claimed . Total shambles .

Next match maybe they'll give Rehan Ahmed a go at number 7 in place of Jamie Overton, but the batters didn't exactly give the bowlers much to work with. Still, it's T20 and I've forgotten it already. The ODIs probably have more relevance for once with the Champions Trophy coming up.
Good to see Wood back and bowling with high pace. Let's hope he stays fit for the India tests in the summer and the Ashes.

Yet another T20 lost . Threw it away.
Yet another failure for the Key regime .

No-one cares.

The concussion replacement of Shivam Dube (a medium paced batting allrounder) with Harshit Rana (a quick bowler) wasn't exactly like for like. I'm surprised the referee allowed it.
England still should have won the game, but then I've forgotten it already :-)

Attention deflect disorder, from playing franchise cricket .
Oh, and getting writers cramp moaning about England ODI performances Mr Key.

Another ODI series 50/50 lost.
The out of the box idea of full blown pace has not worked.
-
Four successive ODI series lost and 15 of the last 22 games.
A keep bright and cheerful response on-field kicks in, gives the impression nobody cares and the whole game is only for entertainment value ,(Also saw this in the women?s ashes). Perhaps smiles will get wiped off of faces in performance related pay. Sponsors start to think twice of being associated with losing teams, so beware ECB, the franchise sums of money might become the only revenue to rely on rather than television contracts.
