To my eternal shame, I've never attended a match at Chelmsford, in spite of living here for a good 40-odd years.
Anyway, I want to take my son to the T20 game against Surrey on 14 July - so with a limited amount of seats available for that game, what would others recommend as best place to sit? Available areas are:
Eagles Area - assume this is seating at ground level, so view isn't the best?
Tom Pearce Stand
Greene King Stand
Moulsham Stand
Felsted Stand
Tiptree Stand
Hayes Close Area
My son is 16 so he's familiar with bad language, but would prefer to keep away from any drunken / rowdy types, and obvs would favour a good view!
Any advice gratefully received.

The Hayes Close End is an excellent place to watch and is alcohol free I believe so will keep the yobs away.

Is it also old farts free for T20?

You can educate yourselves as well.
At the last home championship game, a corporate member informed me that.
The immigrants are taking over.
The City Centre is a crime-ridden dump.
I repeat, the immigrants are taking over.
Other Countries in Europe are a Shangri-La.
I went home better educated than before.
At the T20, there will be Reform UK members celebrating their victories. Having missed the press conference, where Farage stated if they are members of the party now. They will not be in the near future.

If other European countries are a Shangri-La, why are there so many foreigners there? Did he start frothing at the mouth?
