Post by: Perov on February 28, 2024, 11:17:54 AM
Paying to park at Meteor  Way is reintroduced for the 2024 season, payment by card only,
3 pounds,  on the day, 2 pounds pre booked or 30 quid for potential 28 days of Championship cricket.

That's why they sneakily left it off the list of members' benefits.

The public car park next door is free at the weekends IIRC.

And there won't be 28 days of CC cricket!

Is Parking still free for Premier members. It used to be ?1 for others, however they could not get their cashless society to work in a field.

Unlikely. They wouldn't  keep spaces for a parking season ticket holders who may not turn up. I expect it will be first come,  first served, and  if it's  full,......tough.
I did ring  the club to ask what we would get to prove we have paid for the season ticket, but they didn't know. They promised go ring me back, but they didn't.

Typical boomers. Want the earth for nothing. Get a mobility scooter and parking problems are solved. Could even combine home matches with scooter stock car racing around the outfield during breaks between innings?the ECB needs my creative input.
