Remember the TV prog with Dsmond Lynham ? Well how did England escape a ten wicket defeat to win by 2 runs. Game done and dusted with seven overs to go, but a outstanding fielding display to show future players on how to turn a game around.
Last ball six for defeat, four to get a super over or anything less for defeat, superb Tom Curran over see England home became a doddle !!

As we want to watch Essex today, decided to buy a week's, rather than day, pass to Sky yesterday, so that we can watch a few of the England v Australia matches as well. Have to say, last night's was worth the extra fiver on its own, we thought England were bound to be defeated easily. Of course, we're used to that edge-of-the-seat stuff, being Essex supporters.

That's the way to do it second time around. England showed all there experience in calmness to get over the line .

We've beaten the Aussies 9 out of 10 home white ball matches.
My dislike of their opener with the pathetic mustache has increased, at least his fellow miscreant crawled off quickly.

Another How Did They moment this time against Aussies in latest 50/50. However Woakes and Archer dismissed the middle order to put England on top. Just great to see a equal bat / ball confrontation, although now missing the fielders retrieving the ball . It's over there ..

Well how did they do that? Messed around with the bat, got a defendable score, so Eoin McLove decides to give Australia a chance by over bowling his part time spinner instead of getting his best spinner on. Then when he eventually gives Rashid the ball the bats are set and Rashid goes around the park. Then Eoin brings back Rashid at the end. Bizarre.
Always rotate through your bowling options, if possible because you never know who is going to have a bad day...

Hmmm... all very fishy to me.

Unfortunately England bubble burst with a final game and series defeat against the Aussies. After the brilliant second game victory, just seemed one game too many .
