Having a Bill Frindall moment, was just wondering if anyone ever seen a stat showing a breakdown of counties with all players selected, over last 25/50 years, had scored the most runs, wickets and catches for the test side ?

E-mail Andy Zaltzman on The Cricket Social.  He needs something to occupy himself. Might even be the basis of a hilarious new radio series on Radio 4.

I reckon we would show prominently having had both Cook & Gooch over the years plus others.

While interesting, I am not too sure how you would categorise players who moved counties during their test side experience. Would you use the county they were a member of when they scored the runs, or the retiring country.
