Ravi just completed hundred  ODI  caps for England , congratulations to him , but has he made the most of his talent, due to the likelihood  his test career  is unfulfilled ?

Bumming around in the BPL, & not getting paid for it either, would suggest not.

I think there is no shame in being a dedicated short form specialist, although at the moment bopara seems to be a classic bits and pieces player. With the amount of international matches it seems sensible that tha squads do change quite a bit between forms.

Problem is that Ravi ought to be capable at all forms of the game.

Cricket was originally played over a day, and probably didn't start until after Church had finished.
