So what's with the offer of £3 tickets to the 3rd day of all home CC matches? Further devaluing the membership.
Are you really trying to reduce membership numbers so that there is less opposition to the management of the club?

Maybe they are trying to attract fans beyond the ageing membership with an obsession with car parking and warm beer? It also indicates that the club doesn't expect CC matches to go much into the third day...let alone the fourth.

Agreed and you've forgotten the obsession with non-league football and train/bus timetables.

What's the Sport's Fan Club - where did you see this advertised?

Is Larry back with his greentops & we haven't been told? ;)

The club included some bumph about them in last year's membership package.
I had a look & basically they punt tickets to sports events no one wants to go to like tiddlywinks, shove ha'penny & the 3rd day of county cricket games.

Actually the tickets are free!
Per the website:-
Yes, the tickets are really free! The tickets are given to the club as complimentary tickets. The only thing a member will pay is a small booking fee which helps to cover our running costs.
Details of the free tickets are put on our fixture list which is available to MEMBERS ONLY.
Members can book up to 5 tickets for an event from the fixture list.
Members pay ONLY an booking fee of £3.00 per ticket. There are no other charges for tickets

...so the tickets are not really free? I could understand a booking fee per booking, but per ticket?

If you remember our batting performances last season...

Indeed. And apparently ex-player/coaches of ECCC as well.
