I'll gladly donate my points to send Larry on a cruise.

The only proviso is that it has to be during the cricket season.

Calm down Mr Tickles, think of your blood pressure, don't rise to the bait.

Probably the best way to get to an away fixture in Somerset these days.

My wife wanted to go to Venice and I didn't.
We agreed on a compromise - I would take her to Somerset.

In my day young people of Essex cruised around in Ford Escorts with very loud music.

That isn't really in good taste is it?
You wouldn't want to be living in Somerset at present with their flooding problems.

Given that the flooding has moved steadily eastwards, and that parts of Essex are under flood warnings (inc the County Ground itself) certain people should be careful what they say...

Larry is used to dealing with floods though.

Floods of abuse that is.

In my day, they cruised around in Ford Transit vans robbing banks. :)

Ah Diatribe, always knew you were younger than me. I remember that Dick Turpin. Mind, Buckhurst Hill always has been a dodgy place!

The cruise deal might be useful for our next match at Worcester too.

Ah, that young Dick Turpin, I remember when he stayed at my uncle's pub... I wonder what happened to him?
