I'd support it if there was a corresponding proposal to extend the CC to 16 games (again) with two divisions of 9 teams each.
However they won't ... so I won't.

Not a T20 fan myself but that's logical. But so is 16 championship matches. I'd make T20 a two division league of 16 games (have the finals day if you must) scrap the quarter finals and university games and play two more 4 day games

So more T20 when the comp is devalued.
Who makes this stuff up?

Obvious political statement from the counties showing rightful disrespect to franchise cricket.
More 20/20 games will dilute the franchise crowds which I would back as the correct stance.
It was only 3 years ago that Sussex, Somerset and Surrey along with us as the main leader wanted more 20/20 as we were rather good at filling our grounds and the other counties repelled us.
Incidentally, I was at the Oval for there last 20/20 and the members do not want franchise cricket, they are more than happy with watching full houses at Surrey CCC.

Crisp I imagine that's the case at Lord's too.
