Title: Dog days of summer
Post by: Slogger on July 15, 2018, 05:28:11 PM
I'm not a huge fan of the T20 and as I'm only planning to attend the Lord's game I haven't taken too much interest in the fixture list. I'm really surprised by how disjointed it is. Back to back games followed by long periods of inactivity. All of this during this wonderful spell  of weather with so little cricket being played.

I suppose the one thing we can’t blame the ECB  is for the weather. Having said that I suppose summer is likely to occur at about this time of year.

Well according to what I've read about the "Dog days" we're now in the hottest 6 weeks of the year through to about mid August.  Surely now, with the schools packing up in the next few days,  is the time to pack games in?&
