Coggeshall week Middlesex in early August
Sussex at Halstead a couple of weeks later 3 days only
Most games at Billericay, nothing at Bishop Stortford, a few 1 day games at Chelmsford

Coggeshall week the same as the Windies at Chelmsford. Shame.

Would it really be too difficult to schedule the seconds away when the firsts are at home and vice versa? The only caveat I'd put on that was a stray thought I had about having a second XI T20 game played during the afternoon of a first team eveningT20 game to make it a double header. Probably a non starter for all sorts of reasons though.

The club tried a sort a double header when championship cricket moved from three to four days. At Ilford after the four day and one day game, there was a three day 2nd XI championship game to make up the number of days at the festival. It was not a success and not repeated.
