Blimey the Wadham Stringer Trophy final ... presented by Fred Dineage. TV Gold. I don't remember this at all.
Top players involved so they must have got relatively well paid.

Yes - I was there! I think I have a video tape of the semi-final somewhere. I met most of the team at one point during the weekend = they were pleased to have some support - it was when I lived in Hastings.
