There is only one semi final at 11am, the winner plays the team that topped the League in the final at 3pm.

It also makes the finals day less of an endurance test for spectators and should be adopted by the men. I saw Yorkshire play Loughborough in the opening match. The standard of fielding was excellent, the batting and bowling less impressive. It seems slow/spin bowlers with odd actions continue to dominate the women's game.

At least one semi and a half way place beckons.
