India -H .
« on: July 23, 2025, 10:44:22 AM »
After the WIndies warm up, India showed how far they have progressed on winning the 50 over and T20 series . They must be now considered the seconded best women?s test side after the Aussies, and were far the better side against England who played catch up.
Second best in batting and fielding, if playing the Indians was to be the confidence booster in keeping up the world rankings, it did not work.
Throughout  though the PR people have told them to look like they have enjoyed playing cricket with non stop smiles and laughs shown,  but  unfortunately made them look blaise and arrogant especially after mis fields .
Did not come over a good look for professional sports people. What it did show was how weak the next layer of cricket is at this elite level .
Progression, England have not shown any since the Aussies mauling, the only positive is that ex captain Knight was unavailable through injury and will return the the easily has other have failed to nab her place.
