The chairman said last year that if spectators were allowed for T20 members would get priority. Maybe he's carried forward that principle? A couple of my mates, who have retired in the past few months took up the discounted life membership. Neither was a member previously.

If we get to see ANY cricket, I can't see spectators allowed before the end of May, so no attendance for 4 home County Championship matches.
If attendance is allowed from June,  social distancing will be in place, so limited numbers will be in attendance,  and  I expect that could be limited to around  1,000 for safety reasons.

If you attend T/20 you will need membership, if you don't, membership may be a gamble because  if there are maybe 3,000 members,  you may only have a one in three chance of being selected for attendance.

At the Press Conference this evening the Prime Minister hinted that the announcement on the 22nd will be that the road map is to end all restrictions when ready in one go.

This may not be until the early part of the season has gone. You will then be left with four Championship games, two of which due to the format may be irrelevant and a non serious tourist game.

There is T20 but you have to pay extra for that.
