Great news, it's always an enjoyable week at Coggeshall, been going for 5 years now.

The club were celebrating this news a week or so ago.

Apologies. Life hasn't always been entirely fair recently. It is to be hoped that it's getting better now.

No worries, Perov. Didnít take it amiss.
Coggeshall Week is w/b 24th August. I believe there will be a beer festival, as usual, and of course entry is free, and thereís quite a lot of parking.

Iíll post more details when I get them; might even try and sort out an Outfielder meet there if anyoneís interested.

Edited.... predictive text had a brain-spasm.

Making use of the new floodlights.  Two T20s at Chelmsford starting at 6.30.

I suppose the evening fixtures are to give second team players experience of playing in twilight/under lights? The timing won't be great for the second XI's core support!

It was always customary to show the home team first in fixtures.
Therefore in the newly released fixtures are Glamorgan, Hampshire and Middlesex seconds playing home games in Essex, or is it just shoddy administration?   ;)

A trip to Woolpit looks attractive, nice ground and easy access.

We're waiting to see where the Durham v Essex match is going to be: 4 days, so provided it's not all the way up into Northumberland we might be able to get to it.
