As we all know Yorkshire is a different place to the rest of the country. Astonishingly their AGM is still going ahead on Saturday despite all advice to the contrary. They have reduced it to 30 minutes as if that makes any difference to an audience of largely elderly folk. Also on the White Rose Forum they are currently going through the counties alphabetically listing their favourites. A good idea superficially but one suggested in the Derbyshire section Fred Truman!! He did not even know how to spell the name of one of Yorkshire's most famous players. He obviously thought he was being clever as Trueman played a handful of games for Derbyshire at the end of his career. Moving on to Essex. There is not a lot of love for us but one cretin suggested Bernard Julian. This typifies the ignorance of the average Yorkshire fan.
