Why is there this idea that being 'City-based' widens the appeal?  Football is not 'city based' they are clubs based in particular cities - a lame importation from Australia, where there is a greater emphasis upon city-level because most Aussies live in one of 5 cities.  Where does our ECB marketing guru come from - Australia!?

Of which the keys aspects are:-

Players draft 20 Oct - to be on SKY from 7pm

The Hundred is being launched to offer world class cricket, with matches completed in less than 2.5 hours.

The ECB is currently consulting with the PCA and counties on draft mechanics and specifics and further details will be announced in due course.

That looks like the website of a local authority swimming pool.

Guess all the money will go on players.

Just as well we're not hosting any of these games, because sitting on the edge of the seats in front of the pavilion is likely to result in splinters in very embarrassing areas.

At the members Q & A they did imply the benches were going to be replaced. Winter 2020 was mentioned starting first with the pavilion.

Not exactly a project on the scale of HS2 or Crossrail is it?! When will there be some proper re-development of the ground?

When or if there is a second season. Will the team finishing last get first pick in the draft and the winners last. Are the players graduating from the University Cricket Centres going into the draft as well. Can the teams swap draft picks in the pecking order for players.

These are what I would call a draft.

Leeds Superchargers will not go down well with the rest of Yorkshire. Congratulations on already alienating a large percentage of your proposed new audience. You really could not make this drivel up.

Thought there were supposed to be 8 teams, or are we remembering wrongly?
