Remarkable turnaround in a game slipping away, a classic example of belief in your team and abilities.

I think India threw it away. All this "belief" stuff is just media speak. I am sure England had almost given up when India self destructed. It brought to mind some spectacular collapses by Essex in the past. :)

Seemed India held a couple of their more experienced batters back when maybe they needed a more calm head out there to keep the momentum going?

I always think that you need to give the older hands the opportunity to build an innings. After all, they were able to just nurdle it around for most of the innings, they just got becalmed when the novices came in later on. Realistically I expected India to cruise it with a couple overs left.

Well done - it's good to see the women getting financial support for their cricket. In the 1980s they paid for everything themselves and when Tourist teams came over they were often guests in friend's houses. We put up Debbie Hockley and Ingrid Jagersma to help out when they were playing a warm-up game in Sussex.
