Annoying is being kind.  Trying to play up to this image of being a joker, but he isnt funny.

But not quite as unfunny as David Lloyd.

But at least you can understand what Bumble is saying.

Give him credit for trying to develop a post-playing career.  He's not fallen off any pedalo's/waggons?

Better than Topley taking 5 overs to talk about his son's girlfriend.

I have two possible comments on this:

I) My preference for Heather Watson
ii) A wry comment about East European women on dating websites.

Neither would get past the censors, so I won't mention them.

You mean he went a whole 5 overs without talking about his favourite subject?  Himself.
According the latest Cricketer magazine he does all the commentary for free.

Bumble is a great character, a good laugh who unlike some doesn't take himself seriously.

What I find really annoying are BBC presenters referring to him as Freddie Flintoff. That isn't his name & they are not best buddies with him.

Perhaps us licence-fee payers should negotiate a rebate...  ;)

It's not so much the name but the contrived chumminess that seems to be specially reserved by the BBC for him.
