How quickly things can turn around from the depths of the defeat by Gloucestershire and the early departure of Riaz. Decent start despite the early loss of Jesse (he made up for that in the field though) and an excellent partnership between Ravi (best T20 innings I've seen from him for a while) and Zaidi (a surprisingly good signing) saw us past 200. Kent started quickly but regularly lost wickets to good bowling and excellent fielding. Definitely back in contention for top 4 now.

How did Walter bowl? Figures look good but they can be deceptive in T20.

Napier completed a a hat trick, with a six day gap.
Last two balls at Surrey were wickets, and he took a wicket with his first ball against Kent.

Zaidi coming and Riaz going seems to be the major difference.

Zaidi was already in the team. Removing Riaz has improved the bowling ... and fielding.

A very convincing win with good performances all round, Jesse redeemed his duck with a superb runout & a fine running catch, splendid bowling from Walter who has learnt quickly varying his deliveries & deservedly got 3-26, brilliant runout by Ravi as well.
Batting wise a fine partnership by Ravi (who has seldom batted better in T20) & Zaidi who once again showed his value (still can't believe Sussex let him go).
We are now right back in the mix & whilst 1st& 2nd look tricky to get we can easily finish 3rd or 4th - 4 wins from 6 should do it. An excellent display & great credit to the team.

Agreed. Can't wait to see how Riaz does for Pakistan.  Zaidi is probably the best 'import' from another county since Masters - at least if he maintains this form until the end of the season. Just what we needed - an experienced lower order bat to support those above him.
