this isnt a place to put empty praise.

Nothing in the Forum Rules to say that.

Forums naturally tend to be negative, but there's nothing wrong with being positive about something on here when appropriate. With ECCC there's often plenty to be negative about, on and off the pitch, but it's not always like that.

Who said there was?

all 'fans' forums are dead quiet when things are good as there is nothing to discuss and debate as that is the main reason such things exist, for people to debate and gripe and discuss not make hollow platitudes without adding anything more.

Ilford eagle is fair he praises but actually adds insight and formed opinion, often from having seen tbe game in person, unlike some who comment from afar and add nothing.

That's your opinion but nobody has any right to dictate what should and should not be on the forum as long as posts are within the Forum Rules. Can't say that I agree with everything that Happyman posts but that's irrelevant. His posts are as welcome as any other poster.

im stating a widely held opinion.

where is that dictating who should post? kindly point that out where i have said who can and cant?

An excellent result, pity we couldn't do that last night. Thursday should be good with a sizeable crowd, either us or Sussex v Glam on Sky - surely us as there is a lot at stake, it's in our hands 2 wins we qualify possibly in 3rd, 1 we could but only in 4th.

They just said at the Test that the Middlesex V Essex game on Thursday will be on Sky.

see how quick you are to incorrectly pick me up that point, ......

Err ... I was picking you up on the point of praise.

Of which you gave the team none.

Before criticising every one else on here for doing the exact same thing.

I give praise to the team, not yesterday when only Ryder was worthy of praise.  I did not take kindly to your use of the word 'berate'  The radio guy on before the cricket on that night was a baffoon I think you missed the point., i was making, i won't go over it again. You are reminding me of another poster on here, lol

Baffoon? Isn't he a goalkeeper?
