Are we back to full capacity at Chelmsford, or not.
Yet again, tonight’s women’s match was allegedly sold out, but was clearly no where near full.
If capacity is still restricted, possibly on the council’s say so, why can’t the club just say so.
Why are the club still keeping these things quiet. Just tell us what’s going on.

In the red ball game at Cardiff only half the ground was being used - the Welsh have even stricter rules on crowd numbers.
The commentary on the Women's game said restrictions were still in place ...

This was a ECB game, so any restrictions are not under the clubs requirements. Was unlikely to be a full house due to the game being on terrestrial TV and less freebies . However did not recognise anyone in the crowd from attendants from Essex games.
Probably similar to Champions League and Premiership games in football, different sponsor advertisements require some seating not to be allocated, hence seating unused.

This is true, but also we're definitely still under restrictions at Chelmsford due to the SAG and/or the council. The club probably don't care at this stage as the Blast is done and we won't sell out the ground for any County Championship games.
