Despite fallow periods and neither being the usual beanpole seamer, and lacking that bit of pace, he's stuck at it well over the years - unlike Broad, who's wickets come in batches. Difficult to compare with the likes of Trueman or Willis in earlier eras or those non-English bowlers who play little cricket outside of T20/Tests. Same number of tests as Courtney Walsh, which is a very good guide.
