Kent at Home or at the Oval?.
« on: August 22, 2020, 07:24:08 PM »
Have I missed something, as the BBC website has us being at home to Kent at the Oval on 5th Sept.

We are on at 2pm followed by Surrey v Middlesex at 5pm.

If this is correct, will it be an experimental crowd day in readiness for finals day?

It’s correct.  It’s because the games are both on SKY tv.  With the Covid I t makes it easier for Sky to cover.  They are obviously only able to televise from certain grounds.  Sky are doing 3 double headers.

I believe also that Sunrisers in the Women's competition are playing 3 home games at Chelmsford & one of them is on 5th Sept hence the switch to Kia Oval.

Sky are using only three grounds, I believe, hence Durham v Notts at Headingley.
